Position Summary The Data Operations and Technology unit, within the Center for Health Information and Analysis, is looking to hire a skilled Application Developer to work with the Application Development team.
Responsibilities
Integrate applications by designing database architecture and server scripting; studying and establishing connectivity with network systems, search engines, and information servers.
Complete applications development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities; contributing to team meetings; troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms.
Critically evaluate the .NET components that currently exist within existing CHIA architecture and provide well thought out strategy to stabilize and improve this area of our application stack.
Preferred Qualifications
At least 15 years of hands‑on Software Development experience.
10+ years of experience with .NET development using C# or equivalent language.
Hands‑on experience building enterprise level web applications and supporting binaries.
Object Oriented Programming (OOP) in analysis and design using common design patterns.
Knowledge of Relational Databases, MS SQL Server and Snowflake.
Experience with Azure Classic Portal & Azure Resource Manager in cloud deployments.
Experience with Azure PaaS technologies.
Experience with Azure pipelines and deployments.Experience with Hashing technologies.
Excellent communication skills: verbal and written, along with excellent documentation skills.
