Senior Land Design Civil Engineer

Key Responsibilities Under supervision and working with experienced staff, the successful candidate will complete civil engineering designs and the generation of professional plans and specifications, technical calculations, exhibits and reports in the following areas:
Site Layout, Grading, Storm Drainage, Water & Sewer Utilities
Erosion and Sediment Control
Storm Water Best Management Practices
Variety of Civil 3D Plans, exhibits, and technical deliverables
Municipal and State permitting
And will be supporting clients by:
Evaluating design to solve constructability, municipal code, and site challenges.
Coordinating with Architects, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Engineers
Performing site visits to perform job scoping and coordination with survey crews, SUE, Geotech, etc.
Periodic construction support to include: review of RFIs & Shop Drawings, field inspections, etc.
Education & Certification
Required: Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering
Preferred: Professional Engineer (PE) or ability to obtain within 6 months
Skills & Experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Self-starter who can work independently and with team members
Ability to engage in multiple projects to complete successful requirement deliveries
Ability to organize priorities and multi-task effectively
Pro-actively troubleshoot and problem-solve with practical, client-focused solutions
Experience dealing with regulatory agencies and review professionals
3-8+ years of related experience in civil engineering
Computer skills preferred: AutoCAD Civil 3D, HydroCAD, WaterCAD, MS Office
