A leading Space & Defense engineering organization is seeking an experienced Senior Circuit Card / PCB Design Engineer to join their team and support mission‑critical avionics hardware for next‑generation space systems, satellites, and defense programs.
Key Responsibilities
Design high‑speed digital circuits, including schematic capture and PCB layout specifications.
Collaborate with FPGA firmware designers for space electronics, sensors, and actuation systems.
Lead prototype testing, system integration, and design verification/validation.
Perform worst‑case analysis, timing, signal integrity, and power dissipation studies.
Create simulations and test benches using industry‑standard tools (e.g., Questa/Modelsim).
Develop clear technical documentation, reports, and design reviews.
Support lab troubleshooting, board bring‑up, and cross‑disciplinary engineering activities.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
7+ years in electronics design and development.
4+ years working with modern microprocessors/DSPs, FPGAs, memory, A/D & D/A converters, and communication interfaces.
Proficiency with PCB design/layout tools and digital simulation tools (Questa/Modelsim preferred).
Strong experience in worst‑case analysis, timing, signal integrity, and test coverage.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Hands‑on experience with lab testing, debugging, and board bring‑up.
Preferred Qualifications
VHDL/Verilog experience for space applications.
