Job Details We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Litigation Associate to join our dynamic legal team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional with a solid background in construction law. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling complex litigation matters, providing legal advice, and representing our clients in court. This role demands a high degree of professionalism, an understanding of the construction industry, and a commitment to providing exceptional service.

Responsibilities

Managing all phases of the litigation process including investigation, pleadings, discovery, depositions, settlements, trial, and appeal.

Handling a variety of construction law matters including contract disputes, construction defects, delay claims, and other related issues.

Providing legal counsel to clients regarding their rights and obligations in the construction industry.

Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.

Conducting legal research and analysis to stay abreast of current trends and developments in construction law.

Representing clients in court, presenting evidence, and making compelling arguments in their defense.

Collaborating with other team members to develop effective litigation strategies.

Maintaining strict confidentiality and adhering to the highest standards of professional ethics.

Qualifications

A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

At least 5 years of proven experience as a litigation associate, ideally in the field of construction law.

Admission to the state bar.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.

The ability to manage multiple cases with varying deadlines.

A thorough understanding of the litigation process and court procedures.

Proficiency in legal research tools and software.

Exceptional analytical and problem‑solving skills.

A professional demeanor and the ability to maintain composure under pressure.
