POSITION OVERVIEW
Parsons is looking for an exceptionally talented Engineering Manager/Senior Supervising Electrical Engineer to join our team! In this role, you will lead electrical design efforts across diverse and challenging projects, ranging from site utility improvements to greenfield chemical production facilities. You will play a pivotal role in delivering technical excellence, fostering team growth, and driving project success in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, providing management and direction for the electrical engineering department. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Providing technical leadership and management for the design of electrical and telecommunications systems, including:
Grounding and Lightning Protection Systems MV Distribution Systems LV Distribution Systems Telecommunications Systems Motor Controls Emergency Power Distribution Microgrids Solar Power System Design
Managing and mentoring a multidisciplinary team of engineers, designers, and interns, fostering professional growth and collaboration. Overseeing system design from in-house and third-party contractors and providing construction support for electrical systems. Ensuring compliance with industry standards such as NFPA/NEC, UFC/UFGS, and leveraging current technology and engineering software. Supporting pre-contract and business development efforts as a technical consultant. Establishing and improving standards, procedures, and quality programs within the discipline. Ensures performance within overhead budgets authorized for the discipline. Actively participates in and promotes the Quality Improvement Program. May head a committee within the discipline, striving to motivate and educate the assigned personnel. Driving innovation by integrating emerging technologies, such as AI and machine learning, into engineering design and production workflows. Staying ahead of industry trends and advancements in electrical systems, including digital twins, predictive analytics, and smart systems. KEY RELATIONSHIPS

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (or related field) and typically 15+ years of related work experience, including supervisory/managerial experience. Professional Engineer registration with active membership in a professional engineering society may be required. SKILLS/COMPETENCIES
What Required Skills You'll Bring
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (or related field) and 15+ years of relevant experience, including supervisory/managerial roles. Proven ability to lead geographically dispersed teams of 15+ personnel across diverse projects. Deep expertise in electrical distribution systems and related fields, including system design, commissioning, and troubleshooting. Strong knowledge of industry practices, regulations, and engineering software capabilities. Working knowledge of electrical codes and standards including NFPA 70 and NFPA 780. Professional Engineer registration with active membership in relevant professional societies, such as:
International Society of Automation (ISA). Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE).
Demonstrated involvement in professional society activities, such as serving on committees, contributing to technical publications, or presenting at conferences. Current security clearance highly desirable. Must be able to obtain federal clearance. What Desired Skills You'll Bring
