Responsibilities
Manage, review, and sign off on complex federal, state, and local tax returns for corporations, partnerships, individuals, and trusts.
Oversee engagement planning, budgeting, scheduling, and workflow management.
Supervise, mentor, and develop staff and seniors; provide formal and on-the-job training.
Conduct and review technical tax research; prepare and present clear recommendations to partners and clients.
Develop and implement proactive tax planning strategies to optimize client tax positions.
Identify and resolve significant tax issues; communicate risks and opportunities to partners and clients.
Maintain and grow strong client relationships as a trusted advisor, ensuring exceptional client service.
Support partners in practice management, including billing, proposal development, and business development efforts.
Monitor changes in tax law and ensure firm compliance with regulatory and professional standards.
Assist with internal process improvements to increase efficiency and enhance service quality.
