Responsibilities
Prepare and review federal, state, and local income tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts
Oversee staff accountants and interns; provide training, guidance, and performance feedback.
Conduct technical tax research and prepare memoranda documenting findings.
Assist in tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and support client goals.
Review work papers for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with firm standards.
Identify and resolve tax issues; communicate findings and recommendations to managers and partners.
Maintain strong client relationships through responsive communication and high-quality service.
Ensure compliance with deadlines, regulatory requirements, and professional standards.
Participate in engagement budgeting, scheduling, and workflow management.
Support business development activities, including participation in proposals and client presentations.
Keep current with changes in tax laws and regulations.
