Global Corporate Controller (Hybrid, 3X in Atlanta, GA)
Our client is a fast‑growing, PE‑backed SaaS company and they are looking to bring on a strategic, hands‑on Global Corporate Controller to lead and scale the accounting and finance function. The ideal candidate is a CPA with strong technical accounting expertise, SaaS or tech experience, and a solid understanding of private‑equity reporting and lender compliance.
Candidates MUST be based in Atlanta, GA, or a surrounding area where commuting 3X onsite will not be problematic.
Key Responsibilities Accounting Operations & Reporting
Prepare monthly financial statements across multiple entities (International experience required)
Ensure accurate revenue recognition for subscription, usage, and service revenue under ASC 606
Prepare journal entries for accruals, depreciation/amortization, allocations, and other routine items
Review the general ledger, maintain balance sheet reconciliations, and validate revenue data
Approve employee expense reports and oversee AR, collections, and quarterly allowance adjustments
Manage cash across domestic and international accounts, including payments and reconciliations
Monitor covenant compliance and prepare lender reporting packages
Lead annual audits across jurisdictions and coordinate tax and audit support with external partners
Strategic Finance
Produce weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting for investors
Partner with FP&A on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Support strategic initiatives such as M&A due diligence, global expansion, and system implementations
Maintain strong internal controls, policies, and procedures; research complex accounting issues to ensure GAAP compliance
Systems & Process Improvement
Oversee the accounting tech stack (ERP, billing, AP) and drive automation and process efficiency
Enhance ERP and financial systems to support scale
Qualifications
Active CPA required
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; advanced degree preferred
10–15 years of accounting experience, including 3+ years in a senior leadership role
SaaS/tech industry background and strong ASC 606 expertise
Experience with private‑equity environments and lender covenant reporting
Strong US GAAP knowledge and audit readiness
Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with systems such as Sage Intacct, NetSuite, or similar tools
