Ensure safe, compliant, and efficient practices: collaborate with Manufacturing, FSQA, and external partners (e.g., Pest Control) to optimize cleaning efficiency, minimize downtime, and ensure proper handling, storage, and usage of cleaning chemicals in compliance with SDS and regulatory requirements.

Drive corrective actions and process validation: conduct root‑cause analysis for sanitation‑related deviations, implement corrective and preventive actions, and support verification and validation of sanitation chemicals and techniques.

Pest Control Support & Facility Hygiene

Support and enforce pest prevention: maintain strong sanitation practices, perform routine inspections, promptly address sanitation deficiencies, and ensure exterior housekeeping and waste areas deter pests, minimizing attractants and access points.

Collaborate on pest management and corrective actions: partner with FSQA, Pest Control, Maintenance, and Manufacturing to monitor pest activity, report sightings, maintain pest control devices, and participate in root‑cause investigations and preventive measures to mitigate risk.

Compliance, Verification & Documentation

Conduct and verify sanitation operations: perform pre‑ and post‑operational inspections, monitor completion of sanitation logs and chemical checks, and utilize in‑person and video‑based audits to ensure adherence to SOPs, GMPs, allergen control, and environmental hygiene, keeping the facility audit‑ready at all times.

Drive continuous improvement and compliance: document audit findings, issue and follow up on corrective actions, and communicate results and improvement opportunities to management to support ongoing sanitation effectiveness and regulatory compliance.

Continuous Improvement & Data Use

Evaluate sanitation efficiency and introduce improvements to reduce downtime and increase throughput.

Track sanitation KPI performance (e.g., pre‑op defects, re‑clean rates, EMP trends).

Inventory, Supplies & Equipment
