Compensation & Benefits Competitive base with uncapped monthly bonus.
$30K retention bonus . Malpractice coverage. 4 weeks PTO; 1 week for CME plus stipend; 6 paid holidays on top of PTO. Expansive benefits package, health, vision, dental, pet insurance. 401(k) matching, NQDP, paid LTD/STD, paid life insurance.
Work Focus PCPs are expected to treat a wide range of medical conditions, develop long‑term relationships, provide individualized health‑management programs and continuous support.
No obstetrics
Clinic hours Monday‑Friday 8‑5
After‑hours call service
18‑22 patients/day (based on complexity)
On‑site laboratory services
State‑of‑the‑art technology with integrated EMR and electronic prescribing
No admitting; no nights
Compliance with Georgia Composite Board regulations (Georgia Medical Practice Act)
Patient education in health management & disease prevention
Support evidence‑based practice guidelines implementation
Provide patient education and appropriate outpatient care
Supervise physician assistants / nurse practitioners
Participate in peer review, performance improvement, continuing education, risk management, clinical indicator selection
Assist in evaluating phone calls & determining disposition when appropriate
Use Allscripts/Veradigm EMR to document in the health record
Promote continuity by collaborating with team members
Minimum Required Education, Experience & Skills
MD or DO, current Georgia license in good standing
Board certification in Family Practice or Internal Medicine
Completion of residency in family practice/internal medicine
Valid DEA
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Excellent written & spoken communication skills
Caring, attentive nature
Working understanding of managed care environment
Effective communication with all employee levels and health plans
Preferred Education, Experience & Skills
Bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency
Physical & Mental Requirements
Lift up to 50 lbs
Punch/pull heavy objects up to 50 lbs of force
Sit for extended periods
Stand for extended periods
Operate office equipment, fine motor skills
Receive and comprehend instructions verbally or in writing
Use logical reasoning for simple and complex problem solving
Travel to multiple locations as required
