Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive primary care to a diverse patient population.
Manage prevention, chronic disease management, and health promotion.
Develop individualized care plans based on patient history and data.
Educate patients in health management and disease prevention.
Support the development and implementation of evidence‑based practice guidelines.
Conduct appropriate patient education and counseling.
Supervise physician assistants and nurse practitioners.
Participate in peer review, performance improvement, continuing education, risk management, and clinical indicator selection.
Assist with phone call triage and disposition when appropriate.
Document clinical activities in the Allscripts/Veradigm EMR.
Collaborate with other health‑care team members to promote continuity of care.
Work Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM; poor‑obstacle (no OB).
Maintain after‑hours call service.
Manage 18–22 patients per day (pending complexity).
Comply with all Georgia Composite Board rules and the Georgia Medical Practice Act.
Qualifications
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) with an active Georgia license in good standing.
Board certification in Family Practice or Internal Medicine.
Completed a family practice or internal medicine residency.
Valid DEA registration.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
Compassionate and attentive bedside manner.
Understanding of and ability to thrive in a managed‑care environment.
Strong interpersonal skills with staff, clinicians, and health plans.
Preferred
Bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency.
Physical & Mental Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to push or pull heavy objects up to 50 pounds.
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
Fine‑motor skills required for office equipment.
Ability to receive and comprehend instructions verbally or in writing.
Logical reasoning for problem solving.
Travel to multiple locations as business needs arise.
Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary with uncapped monthly bonus. $30 K retention bonus. Malpractice coverage. 4 weeks paid time off plus 1‑week CME stipend; 6 paid holidays on top of PTO. Salary: $250,000–$300,000+ (incl. uncapped monthly bonus).
