Director, Business Development - Healthcare

BDO’s Healthcare Management Consulting team partners with healthcare organizations to provide strategy, operations management, and digital solutions focused on helping provider organizations improve quality of care, patient experience, and financial performance. Responsibilities
Develops and executes business development strategies to grow BDO’s healthcare consulting practice. Proactively identifies and engages potential clients through networking, targeted outreach, social selling, and prospecting of new opportunities. Conducts market research to identify trends, competitive positioning, and emerging opportunities. Qualifies leads by assessing needs, decision-making processes, and alignment with BDO’s solutions. Delivers presentations and ongoing thought leadership to clients and prospects. Represents BDO at conferences and webinars to expand market prominence and promote service offerings. Develops and implements account and pursuit plans to grow key relationships. Manages the sales pipeline, tracks deal progression, and maintains accurate CRM records. Leads account management efforts to ensure client satisfaction and retention. Tracks sales metrics to ensure targets are met or exceeded. Other duties as required. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required; focus in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred. Advanced degree preferred. Seven (7) years of business development experience required; healthcare consulting or professional services experience preferred. Experience leading cross-functional teams and collaborating in a matrixed environment preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CRM systems required; Microsoft Dynamics preferred. Deep understanding of healthcare industry dynamics, regulations, and stakeholder needs. Ability to generate new business opportunities and manage complex sales cycles. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events. Compensation and Benefits
Individual salaries offered are determined after consideration of qualifications, experience, skills, and geography. National Range: $150,000 - $180,000; Maryland Range: $150,000 - $180,000; NYC/Long Island/Westchester Range: $150,000 - $180,000. About Us
