About the Role Our client, a prominent AM100 law firm, is seeking a Mid-level or Senior Patent Agent or Mid-level Patent Associate to provide patent prosecution services in software and electronics IP. Candidates will work on cutting‑edge innovations across diverse industries, with opportunities to support healthcare and medicine‑related IP.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and prosecute U.S. and foreign patent applications.
Collaborate with clients in various industries, providing strategic patent portfolio management.
Draft high‑quality patent applications and office action responses.
Work closely with inventors and engineers to translate innovations into robust IP protections.
Support due diligence, patent litigation, or licensing matters as needed.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
USPTO registration required.
Familiarity with all aspects of U.S. and foreign patent prosecution.
Prior law firm experience required; industry experience or patent litigation exposure is a plus.
Exceptional academic credentials and strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills.
