Job Title: SAP SCM Functional Consultant
Location: Bay Area, California (Onsite at Client Location)
Role Type: Functional Resource – SCM
Experience: Typically 10 Years
Role Overview We are seeking an experienced SAP SCM Functional Consultant to join our client engagement in the Bay Area. The candidate should have deep functional expertise in SAP Supply Chain Management modules and be capable of conducting test execution, working directly with business teams, and ensuring smooth onsite delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the functional expert for SAP SCM across modules such as MM, PP, QM, WM/EWM, or APO (as applicable).
Perform test execution, including preparing test scripts, executing test cycles, logging defects, and supporting SIT/UAT phases.
Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, perform fit‑gap analysis, and support solution design.
Provide onsite client support for configuration, functional validation, and issue resolution.
Coordinate with cross‑functional SAP teams to ensure smooth end‑to‑end process integration.
Support documentation, end‑user training, and knowledge transfer activities.
Required Skills & Experience
Strong functional expertise in SAP SCM modules (MM / PP / WM / EWM / APO / QM depending on project need).
Experience in test execution and validation across multiple cycles.
Ability to work onsite with client teams in the Bay Area.
Strong understanding of supply chain processes – procurement, inventory, planning, logistics, or production.
Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and problem‑solving skills.
Good to Have
Experience on SAP S/4HANA supply chain modules.
Exposure to integration with FICO, SD, and other enterprise modules.
Experience working with US‑based or Bay Area clients.
