Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on S/4HANA SAP SCM AMS Onsite Transition Manager to lead Phase 2 of the Application Management Services (AMS) transition for a manufacturing client. This role involves managing knowledge transfer, transition, hypercare, stabilization, and regression testing activities, with a strong functional focus on SAP MM/PP and SD modules. Key Responsibilities Knowledge Transfer (KT) Planning & Execution Develop and execute a structured KT plan covering support processes, documentation, and system landscape. Coordinate KT sessions with incumbent teams, focusing on MM/PP and SD functional areas. Establish and maintain knowledge repositories with accurate documentation of business processes and configurations. Transition Management
Lead onsite AMS transition activities, including support team ramp-up and service operations setup. Collaborate with offshore teams to implement a dual-shore support model. Monitor readiness checklists across functional and technical streams. Define and execute Hypercare plans, including scope, SLAs, and issue resolution strategies. Oversee incident and service request management, root cause analysis, and performance monitoring. Engage business users and resolve high-priority issues across MM/PP and SD modules. Design and lead regression testing cycles to ensure system stability. Collaborate with QA teams to define test scenarios, scripts, and expected outcomes. Manage issue tracking and resolution during test execution. Hands-On Functional Contribution
Provide support in MM (purchasing, inventory, vendor management), PP (MRP, shop floor, work centers), and SD (order processing, pricing, delivery). Troubleshoot production issues and support minor enhancements and configuration updates. Conduct user training and documentation as part of ongoing support. Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related field. 8–12 years of SAP experience in MM, PP, and SD modules. Minimum 2 full-cycle S/4HANA implementations. At least 3 years in AMS or support transition leadership roles within manufacturing. Strong understanding of discrete or process manufacturing and end-to-end supply chain processes. Proven experience in managing transition programs, hypercare, and regression testing. Preferred Qualifications
Onsite experience with global manufacturing clients. Familiarity with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy). Working knowledge of SAP Fiori apps, interface monitoring, and IDoc troubleshooting.
