Director, Corporate Development – East Region (Remote)
Location: Must reside in the East Region and within the United States.

Key Responsibilities
Proactively build 6‑ and 7‑figure strategic and dynamic partnerships that support partner goals and advance our brand and mission.
Research, identify, and cultivate revenue opportunities with new and existing partners through lead generation, proposal preparation, and sales presentations.
Lead the development of business opportunities cross‑functionally with Mission, Marketing, and Community Development teams.
Manage the full new business sales cycle, including cold/warm outreach, meeting planning and cadence, engagement of key internal stakeholders, proposal and presentation development.
Provide regular status reports, trend analyses, and revenue projections to senior leadership.
Act as an external ambassador, staying current with mission priorities and engagement opportunities.
Maintain knowledge of corporate giving landscape and act as an expert to internal stakeholders.
Manage a team with a portfolio of existing national corporate partner programs and inbound new business partnerships $50,000 and below. Management responsibilities include:
Providing oversight and strategic direction on partnership stewardship and revenue generation.
Ensuring the team follows account management best practices.
Recruiting, training, supervising, and coaching staff.
Travel averages one week per month, focused on unsourced revenue opportunities.
All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and 10–15 years of nonprofit fundraising experience with a proven track record in building and managing a robust sales/partnership pipeline.
Track record of meeting and exceeding large revenue goals, including 6‑ and 7‑figure partnerships.
Entrepreneurial spirit and focus.
Proactive research and closing of new business opportunities.
Effective use of qualified leads and personal network to create partnership opportunities with senior executives.
Experience developing comprehensive partnership proposals.
Ability to manage a sales process and create financial forecasting/reporting of key metrics.
Independent self‑starter with a history of working with little direction.
Willingness to travel up to 25% and work evenings/w weekends as needed.
Desired Additional Qualifications
Strong deal/partnership lead‑to‑close ratio.
Experience supervising a team of direct reports or volunteers.
Experience developing, implementing and managing partnerships for a national non‑profit.
Compensation & Benefits
Approximate salary $102,000–$145,000 (may vary with experience and location).
