Cape FoxEagle Health is seeking a licensed

Clinical Psychologist (PhD or PsyD)

to join our Occupational Medical Service team supporting the National Institutes of Health (NIH). This role is integral to the delivery of high-quality behavioral health services within a federal occupational health setting. The Psychologist will provide onsite psychological and behavioral health assessments, support the Drug-Free Federal Workplace Program (DFWP), and serve as a key resource for mental health-related occupational incidents and employee mental health initiatives.

The salary for this exempt position has been established at: $123,000. This above salary represents the company’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Key Responsibilities:

Conduct psychological evaluations and behavioral health assessments for NIH personnel, including neuropsychological and psychometric testing.

Provide clinical consultation in support of workplace medical surveillance programs, the DFWP, including psychological fitness-for-duty evaluations and substance use assessments.

Collaborate with the DOMS clinical team to support occupational incident (OI) investigations involving mental health concerns.

Serve as an extended support resource to the NIH Employee Assistance Program (EAP), offering short‑term counseling, referrals, and crisis intervention as needed.

Maintain accurate, confidential clinical documentation in accordance with federal and agency standards, and timely professional report writing.

Participate in interdisciplinary case reviews and contribute to the development of workplace wellness and mental health initiatives.

Support the development of educational materials and training sessions related to behavioral health and workplace resilience.

Experience with alcohol and substance use assessments, neuropsychological evaluations, workplace mental health, and interdisciplinary care teams.

Strong interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a high‑profile federal environment.

Experience supporting federal agencies or working within a government contract environment.

Familiarity with EAP models and occupational health protocols.

Training or certification in trauma‑informed care or crisis intervention and forensic psychology.

Job Requirements

Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (PhD or PsyD) from an APA‑accredited program.

Active, unrestricted license to practice psychology in any US state or territory.

Minimum of 5 years of post‑doctoral clinical experience, preferably in occupational health or federal healthcare settings.

U.S. Citizenship required; must be able to pass a federal background check.
