About Mariana Minerals

Mariana Minerals is a software-first, vertically integrated minerals company on a mission to supply the

critical minerals powering modern energy, AI, and defense technologies .

We’re reimagining how minerals are sourced, refined, and optimized by combining deep industrial expertise with

software, automation, and data-driven decision-making . Join us as we build the future of responsible mineral sourcing and supply.

Role Overview We're looking for a Product Manager to help drive our software-enabled approach to mineral processing operations.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on translating complex operational needs into clear product requirements—and who's energized by working across diverse stakeholder groups. You'll partner with plant operators, process engineers, software developers, and data scientists to understand pain points, identify opportunities, and ship solutions that make a real difference.

Success in this role requires strong communication skills, comfort navigating ambiguity, and genuine curiosity about how industrial processes work. You don't need to be a domain expert on day one, but you should be eager to learn and able to build credibility with technical stakeholders.

What You'll Do

Stakeholder management : Build relationships with operators, engineers, and technical leads to understand their workflows, challenges, and needs

Requirements & prioritization : Translate operational problems into clear product requirements; prioritize ruthlessly based on value and effort

Cross-functional collaboration : Work daily with software engineers, data scientists, and domain experts to define and deliver solutions

User research : Conduct interviews, site visits, and workflow observations to deeply understand user needs

Communication : Keep stakeholders aligned through clear documentation, roadmap updates, and regular check-ins

Process improvement : Identify opportunities to simplify workflows, reduce manual work, and surface actionable insights through software

What We're Looking For Must Have

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Demonstrated stakeholder management experience—you can navigate competing priorities and build trust with technical teams

2-3 years in product management, OR 0-2 years PM experience with prior background in engineering or project management

Experience conducting user research and translating findings into product decisions

Comfort working in ambiguous, fast-moving environments

Genuine curiosity and willingness to learn a new domain

Nice to Have

Background in chemical engineering, chemistry, or process industries

Experience in mining or with industrial software, manufacturing systems, or IoT platforms

Experience working with data science teams

Familiarity with process control, automation, or operational technology

Track record in digital transformation initiatives at traditional companies

Why Join Us This is a rare opportunity for PMs who want more than incremental feature work.

At Mariana Minerals, you'll work on software that directly impacts critical minerals production—the supply chain behind electric vehicles, grid storage, AI data centers, and national security. You'll see your work running in real facilities, used by real operators, solving real problems.

If you're a strong PM who's been waiting for a chance to apply your skills to something more tangible than another SaaS dashboard, we'd love to talk.
