Recognized as one of Forbes 2024 "America's Best Large Employers" and named to the Forbes 2024 "Best Employers for Diversity," Labcorp is seeking to hire an Executive Director, Consumer Strategic Partnerships.

Responsible for defining and executing the vision, strategy and roadmap for consumer partnerships, identifying and prioritizing market opportunities, customer needs and competitive advantages to drive growth, innovation and market expansion, as well as driving long‑term, sustainable growth for the consumer business, including accountability for external partnership revenue.

This role requires a dynamic, results‑oriented leader who works with C‑suite individuals to identify, negotiate and manage high‑impact consumer partnerships across healthcare, technology and retail sectors. The role collaborates closely with internal executive and senior leadership teams—including marketing, sales, clinical, IT and operations—to integrate consumer partnership strategies into Labcorp’s broader business development efforts. Market research, trend assessment and new strategic alliance identification will be key functions, with a focus on optimizing existing partnerships to maximize value and business outcomes.

This is a remote position. Applicants must reside in New York (NY), California (CA) or North Carolina (NC); those living within 35 miles of Burlington or Durham, NC will follow a hybrid schedule with a minimum of three in‑office days per week at an assigned location.

Responsibilities

Define and lead the execution of Labcorp’s consumer partnership strategy.

Surface third‑party data consumer partnerships to advance personalized medicine.

Continuously assess market opportunities for potential consumer partnerships with retailers, data aggregators, technology partners, pharmaceutical companies, digital solutions and other health‑care vendors.

Collaborate with executive and senior leaders in marketing and strategy to develop partnership strategies that deliver on growth goals.

Support the ideation of new product and service initiatives aligned with Labcorp’s strategic goals and partner needs.

Collaborate with leaders of the Venture Fund to assess new consumer partnership opportunities.

Manage assigned existing consumer partner executive relationships and assess resource support needed to maintain, grow and optimize partnerships.

Identify opportunities for innovative solutions and business models that enhance Labcorp’s value proposition for partners and consumers.

Build and manage strategic alliances with key industry thought leaders, ensuring long‑term success and value creation for all parties.

Oversee contract discussions and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in consumer partnership agreements.

Represent Labcorp at industry conferences, events and forums to stay at the forefront of trends, foster relationships with potential strategic partners and contribute to thought leadership as needed.

Minimum Education And Experience Required

Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.

15 years’ experience in consulting, product development, consumer partnerships within the healthcare industry.

Ability to collaborate and lead projects with a mix of remote and centrally located team members across time zones.

Familiarity with digital health solutions and technology integrations.

Track record of building strong client relationships.

Proven leadership in collaborative, results‑driven environments.

Pay Range

$200,000 - $225,000 annually plus annual bonus and equity eligibility.

All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data. The position is also eligible for an annual bonus under the Labcorp Bonus Plan, subject to corporate and/or business segment performance and individual performance modifiers. Compensation may also include discretionary short‑ and long‑term incentive packages.

Employees scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life, STD/LTD, 401(k), paid time off (PTO) or flexible time off (FTO), tuition reimbursement, and employee stock purchase plan. Casual, PRN & part‑time employees scheduled to work less than 20 hours are eligible to participate in the 401(k) plan only.
