Position Overview: Chief Executive Officer The

Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

serves as the senior executive leader of

Waikiki Health

, reporting directly to the

Board of Directors

. The CEO is responsible for advancing the organization’s mission while providing visionary leadership and oversight of strategic direction, operational excellence, fiscal stewardship, regulatory compliance, and community and stakeholder engagement. This position offers a unique opportunity to lead a highly respected Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and to make a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of Hawai‘i’s diverse communities. Key Responsibilities Provide forward-thinking and strategic leadership that aligns with Waikiki Health’s mission, vision, and goals. Ensure operational excellence and fiscal accountability, managing an annual budget of approximately

$32 million

. Oversee human resources functions and foster a healthy, inclusive, and mission-driven organizational culture. Ensure full compliance with all federal and state regulations, including

HRSA/BPHC

and

NACHC

guidelines. Serve as the primary representative of Waikiki Health to community partners, policymakers, funders, and the public. Collaborate closely with the

Board of Directors

to implement strategic plans, organizational policies, and progressive priorities. Qualifications Advanced degree in

Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration

, or a related field preferred (e.g.,

MPH, MHA, MBA

). Minimum of

10 years of experience

in community health, public health, human services, nonprofit management, or a related sector. At least

5 years of progressive leadership experience

, preferably at the

executive level

. Proven success in

financial oversight, personnel management, program development, advocacy,

and

stakeholder engagement

. Strong knowledge of

Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC)

operations, healthcare delivery systems, and an understanding of

Hawai‘i’s unique healthcare landscape

. Compensation Salary Range:

$185,000 – $275,000 Compensation is

commensurate with qualifications and experience
