Our client is seeking an experienced
Corporate Transactional Attorney
with at least
10 years of relevant experience
for a fully onsite role in Chicago, IL.
The salary range is $200,000 to $250,000.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in handling complex corporate transactions, advising on business structuring, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. This role requires exceptional drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of corporate agreements, including
M&A documents, joint ventures, shareholder agreements, and commercial contracts .
Advise clients on
corporate governance, entity formation, and restructuring .
Conduct due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions.
Provide counsel on
securities law compliance, financing transactions, and regulatory matters .
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of transactions.
Stay current on changes in corporate law and industry regulations to mitigate risk and ensure compliance.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD)
from an accredited law school; active license in good standing.
10+ years of corporate transactional experience
in a law firm or in‑house setting.
Book of business of at least $350,000.
Strong expertise in
M&A, corporate governance, and commercial contracts .
Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.
Ability to manage complex projects and meet tight deadlines.
High level of professionalism and business acumen.
