Location: Bethesda, MD | Salary: $170,000.00–$255,000.00 (approx.)
Key Responsibilities Deal Sourcing & Pipeline Management
Develop and manage a robust pipeline of acquisition and partnership opportunities in collaboration with the company’s physician leadership.
Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, advisors, and physician practice owners to identify and pursue potential transactions.
Partner with physician dyad leaders to ensure effective communication and alignment with potential sellers throughout the process.
Financial Analysis & Transaction Execution
Lead or support detailed financial modeling, valuation, and underwriting for prospective acquisitions.
Prepare and present investment memoranda, business cases, and financial analyses to executive and physician leadership.
Travel as needed to target practices to present pitch materials and represent the organization to physician leaders.
Coordinate and manage cross‑functional due diligence across finance, legal, operations, and clinical teams.
Support transaction structuring, negotiation, and closing activities in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external advisors.
Integration & Strategic Collaboration
Partner with operations and finance teams to ensure seamless onboarding and integration of newly acquired practices.
Monitor post‑acquisition performance, identifying opportunities to optimize results and enhance integration processes.
Collaborate with FP&A and deal teams to refine assumptions, analyze key performance metrics, and support strategic growth initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications Education
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field (required).
Experience
5–7 years of experience in M&A, private equity, investment banking, or corporate development.
Direct experience in healthcare services, ideally within physician practice or multi‑site operational environments.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously and execute deals from sourcing through closing.
Advanced financial modeling, valuation, and analytical capabilities with meticulous attention to detail.
Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to sourcing and underwriting new investment opportunities.
Exceptional communication and relationship‑building skills across executive, physician, and external stakeholder groups.
