Base pay range $310,000.00/yr - $365,000.00/yr
About the Position:
Our client, an international law firm renowned for its market-leading work with tech and start‑up clients, is actively seeking a private equity and M&A attorney to join its practice in Chicago. This world‑class transactional team has over 7,000 private company clients and a long history of representing financial sponsors, high‑growth companies and founders in a range of industries, including software, healthcare/health services, fintech, edtech, telecom, aerospace, defense and government.

Responsibilities:
Draft and negotiate purchase and merger agreements, LLC and LP agreements and other ancillary transaction documents
Handle day‑to‑day requirements of private equity fund and portfolio company clients
Required Qualifications:
4-5 years of large law firm private equity and M&A experience
Experience working with private equity sponsors
Strong academic credentials
Location:
Chicago, IL (Hybrid)
Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $310,000 - $365,000.
