Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Design and code new features and enhancements to our Intranet/Extranet environment
- Design, develop and implement secure and scalable critical business solutions leveraging primarily Java/J2EE.
- Proactively analyze situations and champion innovative solutions for the selection of new or improved methodologies, techniques, and evaluation criteria for achieving objectives
- Provide technical decisions to improve code quality, product security and performance
- Excellence in technical communication with peers and non-technical colleagues
- Develop and/or update program documentation
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in Java/J2EE programming experience
- Experience with MVC design pattern and application integration methods
- Experience with Spring and Hibernate is required
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and IBM DB2 database development
- Strong HTML and CSS skills (hand coding) including HTML5
- Deep understanding of best practices in building for heterogeneous environments
- Experienced in JavaScript (including jQuery)
