ENGINEER IV - NETWORK & SYSTEMS ENGINEER

Overview
Integrity Communications Solutions is seeking a motivated Engineer IV - Network & Systems Engineer with a strong background in Agile methodologies to design, implement, and maintain mission-critical systems and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have experience with networking, systems engineering, and a solid understanding of Agile practices, with the ability to deliver innovative solutions in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- System & Network Design: Plan, design, and implement computer networks (LAN/WAN) and integrated systems that support both operational and developmental needs.
- Agile Development & Collaboration: Work within Agile teams, participate in Scrum ceremonies, and use Agile methodologies to deliver high-quality solutions on time. Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of system architecture and design with mission objectives.
- Configuration & Management: Configure, manage, and optimize network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and other devices. Apply best practices for performance, reliability, and security.
- Network Security: Implement and manage security measures such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, and encryption protocols to safeguard critical systems and data.
- Troubleshooting & Optimization: Diagnose complex network/system issues, perform preventive maintenance, and resolve connectivity or performance issues promptly. Apply continuous improvement practices to enhance reliability and efficiency.
- Collaboration & Communication: Partner with IT, cybersecurity, and engineering teams to align network and system solutions with organizational requirements. Communicate complex technical information clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Innovation & Best Practices: Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, tools, and industry trends. Recommend and implement innovative solutions to improve network performance and security.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with 5+ years of relevant experience, or
- Master’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience, or
- Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Strong background in LAN/WAN design, routing, and switching technologies.
- Hands-on experience configuring and managing network security tools (firewalls, IDS/IPS).
- Proficiency in network troubleshooting and performance optimization.
- Experience with Agile practices, including Scrum, Kanban, or similar methodologies.
- Familiarity with systems engineering concepts and best practices.
- Active Secret clearance required at time of hire. Must be able to obtain Top Secret clearance if needed.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- U.S. Citizenship required due to federal contracting requirements.
- Ability to work onsite due to the classified nature of the project and travel up to 20%.

- Ability to apply Agile principles to system and network engineering projects.
- Experience with CI/CD processes and tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to innovate and deliver effective solutions in complex environments.
- Experience in client-facing roles, providing technical solutions and guidance to internal and external stakeholders.
- Familiarity with emerging network technologies and security best practices.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary Range: $120,000-$150,000 annually (based on experience and qualifications)
