Assistant Automotive Store Manager
Tire Choice Auto Service Centers is seeking an Assistant Automotive Store Manager to join our team.
The Assistant Manager is a full‑time, hourly position that serves as a key holder and the manager on duty in the absence of the Store Manager. This role assists in managing the operations of our automotive retail service and repair store to meet or exceed service standards and achieve Monro’s performance and profitability goals. The Assistant Manager ensures that all teammates deliver exceptional 5‑Star service to guests by communicating vehicle issues and solutions, meeting time commitments, and maintaining quality.
Responsibilities
Schedule guest appointments to optimize technician abilities and ensure timely completion of vehicle services and repairs.
Help achieve Monro’s sales goals by informing and recommending tire and service products and sales promotions.
Attend to all guest needs in areas of sales, service, complaints, and adjustments.
Build guest relationships to maximize customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention.
Assist technicians in conveying repair and service needs to guests.
Ensure the store is in excellent condition and maintained to Monro standards for cleanliness and guest readiness.
Assist with inventory management, including pulling tires and parts and stocking inventory.
Provide direction and oversight to technicians and assist with services and repairs as needed.
Organize the store’s workflow to ensure technician skill levels are utilized efficiently for effective and timely service and repair completion in accordance with Monro standards of operation.
Understand and adhere to company policies, procedures, governmental standards, environmental codes, and ANSI/OSHA safety standards, consistently applying all required safety protocols.
Perform Store Manager functions as business needs dictate.
Perform other duties as assigned and required by direct supervisor.
