Job Description Our client's internal creative team is looking for a highly experienced Experiential Event Manager to join the team on a contract basis to immediately leverage their deep expertise in overseeing the strategy and execution of a portfolio of events, including domestic trade shows, large scale employee events, and critical workstreams within larger event projects as assigned. This role will report into the Event Production team, whose purpose is to drive the creation and execution of E2E experiences. The Event Manager will provide specialized expertise, driving strategy, planning and execution to create moments that matter. This is a high-visibility role requiring rapid collaboration, co-creation within the creative experience team, and leadership of large cross-functional project teams. The Experiential Event Manager will uphold the team's guiding principles, including COMMITMENT TO EXCELLENCE through meticulous planning and flawless execution, and ATTENDEE EMPATHY as the lens through which we make decisions.
Duties and Responsibilities
Drive the strategy and execution of innovative events e2e.
Provide expert leadership to collaborative project teams to create and drive inspired E2E experiences, applying expertise across concept, vision, programming, design, event technology, and logistics.
Ensure production is shaping strategic intent into meaningful storytelling and experiences, utilizing the Design for Delight (D4D) principles.
Quickly integrate and act as a resource to help project teams align, often serving as a bridge between cross-functional partners.
Develop, manage, and execute against work back plans, cross-functional timelines, detailed project plans, and workstream requirements, serving as the Single Source of Truth (SSOT) for all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Execute and reinforce optimal operational and event delivery processes based on existing team playbooks and standards.
Drive all cross-functional project workstreams to successful execution, track deliverables, and elevate when necessary.
Direct the team's creative process and readiness milestones to ensure alignment on content, logistics, and troubleshooting before final experience delivery.
Required Experience/Skills
Minimum of 5 years of extensive experience in E2E event project management, leading and executing large-scale internal and external experiences.
Deep understanding of, and ability to execute on, third-party trade show execution.
Experience leading complex programs across multiple global campuses or offsite locations.
Deep expertise in event project management, including development of work back plans, timelines, budgets, briefs, and E2E project plans.
Experience working with and directing event production agencies.
Demonstrated ability to drive timely, informed, context-based decisions.
Must thrive in an environment of rapid change, moving targets, and cross-functional dependencies.
Ability to travel domestically 15–20% of the time.
