Position Overview

BRNS Design is a full‑service architecture and interior design studio committed to providing thoughtful and inspiring design. We’re looking for a Project Architect to assist in leading project design concepts and the production of construction documents for both commercial and residential clients. Responsibilities include creating free‑hand sketches, three‑dimensional or interactive design representations, building performance simulations, and presentation drawings for team and client approval. The candidate will lead the architectural team in developing permitting and construction‑ready document sets, coordinate with consultants and permitting agencies, process submittals, substitution requests, and RFIs, and provide on‑site CA services and regular OAC meetings during construction. Professional Degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch) from a NAAB‑Accredited University 8+ years of experience at an Architecture Firm Licensed Architect or actively pursuing licensure Excellent verbal, written, and graphic communication skills Proficient in Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office, and AutoCAD Knowledge of rendering software, including Enscape and Twinmotion Knowledge of building codes Experience in corporate workplace, hospitality, retail, restaurant, churches, and residential project types Responsibilities

Plans and develops projects of small to medium scope and works under minimal supervision Manages design implementation within Revit May oversee a team of architectural associates and interns Interprets, organizes, executes, and coordinates assignments from the project manager Fully represents design and functionality of the project Communicates design ideas through hand sketching, 3D computer renderings, and verbal presentations Coordinates with consultants, contractors, fabricators, specification writers, and design team members Works well in a collaborative environment and responds to design needs from principals Manages workflow of several concurrent projects across a variety of market sectors, from design phase to construction completion Produces a complete set of construction documents and develops details as the project requires Develops design concepts from schematic design and prepares presentation documents How to Apply
