Key Responsibilities

Clean, Extract, Transform, and Load large reliability data sets between tools

Integrate diverse data sets and derive cost effective maintenance strategies

Utilize data science techniques

Interpret technical drawings and analyze for reliability related issues

Produce well-reasoned and clear technical documentation to include Verification and Validation (V&V)

Operate within configuration managed tools and documentation

Troubleshoot basic scripting issues

Participate in optimization of product release train solution

Selected candidate must be able to support program tasks in a secure lab environment (on site) for a minimum of 90% of their total work time.

Schedule This position’s standard work schedule is 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine‑hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline (STEM)

Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope

Experience with large data management (Structured or unstructured database tools, developing metadata standards, data cleansing, version control)

Experience streamlining data processes

Demonstrated knowledge of CM principles, concepts, practices, and standards—1 year experience

Proficiency with scripting (Python, C++/C#, SQL, VBA or similar)—3 years experience

Demonstrated technical expertise in the areas of modeling, simulation, and analysis (MS&A) or Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, Cost (RAM‑C)—3 years experience

Advanced MS Office Suite proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)

Preferred Qualifications

Active Top Secret Clearance

Familiarity with large missile systems, particularly maintenance related

Experience with ReliaSoft Software, particularly RCM++

Experience with program level maintenance planning

Experience with optimization techniques or Designs of Experiments (DOE)

Experience with Agile Release Train (ART) or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)

Experience with DOORs or similar requirements software

Experience with GIT, GitLab, GitHub, or similar software configuration management systems

Experience with Atlassian Tool Suite or Jira Methodologies (Agile Practitioner or Scrum Master)

Salary Primary Level Salary Range: $89,400.00 - $134,200.00

Secondary Level Salary Range: $111,700.00 - $167,500.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
