Job Overview We are a prominent contractor in the Western United States that specializes in building automation for both new construction and retrofit projects. As a Systems Software Engineer on our team, you will lead the programming, graphics development, and commissioning of Building Management Systems (BMS) on a wide range of projects. This hands‑on role involves creating custom databases, troubleshooting networks, field coordination, documentation, and end‑user training.

Requirements
2+ years of building automation (BAS/BMS) or commercial HVAC controls experience
HVAC controls engineering and/or programming experience
Familiarity with one or more of the following BAS systems: Schneider Electric, Siemens, JCI, ALC, Trane, Delta Controls, Distech, Honeywell, Daikin, or other
Preferred
Tridium Niagara experience and/or certification
GUI experience with hardware to support LonWorks, BACnet, and Modbus
DDC Controls experience
Automated Logic or Distech experience
