Mechanical Commissioning Engineer
to support our commissioning team.
Role Overview You will lead and execute commissioning activities for mechanical systems on large data center projects, ensuring all equipment operates safely, efficiently, and as designed.
Key Responsibilities
Commission mechanical systems: CRAH/CRAC units, chillers, pumps, HVAC systems, and controls
Develop and execute commissioning plans, checklists, tests, and reports
Review design documents, submittals, and O&M materials
Coordinate with project teams, contractors, vendors, and clients
Perform inspections, start‑up verification, troubleshooting, and issue resolution
Support IST, SAT, and FAT activities
Maintain accurate commissioning documentation and uphold safety standards
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
3-7+ years in mechanical commissioning, preferably in data centers
Strong HVAC, chilled water, and controls knowledge
Ability to read mechanical drawings and technical documentation
Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
Willingness to travel nationwide
Preferred Qualifications
CxA, CEM, EIT, or PE certification
Understanding of integrated commissioning and electrical interfaces
