Senior Software Developer (Python)
Our client, Genesis10, is seeking a Senior Software Developer (Python) for a direct hire position with a banking company located in Charlotte, NC.
Role Objectives
Design, development, testing, support, and maintenance of software applications.
Primary technologies: Python, SQL, C#/.NET, IBM MQ for messaging, AWS/Azure cloud.
Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Project Managers, infrastructure, DBA, and other application teams across the organization.
Qualifications and Skills
7‑12 years of professional software development experience.
Hands‑on development in Python and SQL.
Strong knowledge of Python and SQL programming, including writing, simplifying complex queries, and improving performance.
Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
Independent judgment and analytical skills.
Strong communication skills, experience speaking to technical and business audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the financial domain.
Experience with IBM MQ, TIBCO, RabbitMQ, or other messaging tools.
Experience with SOAP and REST APIs.
Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
Experience designing and architecting systems.
B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related field.
