Electrical Engineers
for direct-hire roles at their unmanned aerial systems (UAS) client, who is opening their first Texas-based office in Q1 2026.
Salary range : $145,000 - $200,000 depending on experience and location
Overview Seeking multiple experienced Electrical Engineers (III–VI level) to support and lead electrical system development for unmanned aerial systems. This role ranges from hands‑on wire harness production, diagnostics, and troubleshooting to driving complex circuit design, leading small cross‑functional projects, and mentoring junior engineers where needed.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and document electrical systems, circuits, and wire harnesses for UAS platforms, including microcontroller and power‑system development.
Integrate electrical systems with mechanical and software components and support flight test activities.
Oversee and improve wire harness production and act as the liaison with the production line, addressing and closing out non‑conformances.
Lead electrical engineering projects, ensuring quality, timelines, and cross‑functional coordination.
Diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues and guide junior engineers through troubleshooting and best practices.
Maintain accurate schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation in Altium.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
7‑10+ years of electrical engineering experience
Strong background in diagnosing and troubleshooting circuits, power systems, and CAN bus communication.
Proficiency in Altium (or similar) for circuit, PCB, and wire harness design.
Ability to resolve non‑conformances and support production environments.
Solid leadership, project management, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving ability, and clear written and verbal communication.
Preferred : Experience in UAS or aerospace
