Physical Therapist - Clinic Manager (Physical Therapist Manager)
SpineZone is a leading physical therapy and wellness company that treats patients with evidence‑based care, emphasizes a whole‑person approach, and offers in‑person and virtual services across Southern California and the United States. We are looking for a dedicated Physical Therapist Manager to lead spine strengthening programs, supervise clinical teammates, and ensure the highest quality patient care.
Job Overview The Physical Therapist Manager is responsible for managing the core spine strengthening program for each patient, encouraging consistent application of techniques to maximise short‑term and long‑term benefits. The manager also oversees initial intake, day‑to‑day patient care, and the supervision of PTs, PTAs, and SRS staff, working closely with the Clinical Director, medical director, and referring providers.
Responsibilities
Direct oversight of all clinical teammates while ensuring delivery of high‑quality patient care services
Perform direct patient care, including evaluation of musculoskeletal, neurological, and other physical problems
Plan, design, implement, and interpret specific physical therapy treatment programs
Maintain standardized clinical protocols and processes around the SpineZone program
Use MedEx or DAVID equipment to test patients effectively and communicate instructions
Address clinical concerns directly and timely to PTAs
Collaborate with the medical director and referring providers to ensure comprehensive service delivery and quality patient care within a multidisciplinary team
Document encounter notes for each patient visit using the EHR Portal System
Ensure clinical documents are sent out timely to the referring practitioner (e.g., initial evaluation, progress notes, discharge summary)
Assist maintenance program patients as needed
Maintain a clean workout area and overall clinic cleanliness and organization
Strive to achieve all clinical KPI benchmarks and maintain productivity at a minimum of 85%
Participate in bi-weekly webinars and live meetings
Maintain portal dashboards with timely follow‑up
Complete daily billing in Athena
Schedule/reschedule appointments, retrieve messages, and ensure proper communication
Collect copays and other fees required prior to office visits or treatment
Follow all HIPAA regulations and compliance
Deliver outstanding customer service skills and engage well with patients
Perform all other related duties as assigned
Qualifications Must be licensed in the state of California.
Compensation Salary Range, DOE (Salary, Exempt): $88,810 - $125,000.
