Sr Tax Manager
Location: Austin, TX Area
Salary Range: 140K to 180K Plus Bonus & Benefits
We are looking for a Sr Tax Manager who will work independently and with other Managers/ Partners within the firm to maintain client bases and provide training and development to staff members. The Sr Tax Manager will be responsible for an assigned group of clients in various industries and delivery of a full range of services.
Qualifications
Basic/Required: Bachelor’s degree, must have CPA
5+ years experience preparing and reviewing client workloads, public accounting firm experience preferred
Open to a hybrid schedule (minimum 3 days in the office)
Must have experience reviewing complex returns
Must be comfortable being a resource that other team members will go to for questions and leadership
Strong tax compliance and accounting skills
Strong analytical, writing, and organizational skills
Solid interpersonal and customer service skills
Proficient in MS Office Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet tight deadline in a high-energy environment
Leadership ability with a positive team player attitude
Seniority Level Mid‑Senior level
