Embedded HIL Engineer

This team is composed of highly motivated and skilled software engineers from a variety of engineering backgrounds. We build and maintain a scalable, robust, and full featured automation framework, with immediate deployment and testing needs. We may move fast, but we keep an eye on the future. Our product and support will be critical to success as the company scales its hardware organization. In this role, you will: Translate requirement derived test cases into Embedded Hardware in the Loop (eHIL) tests 1 Aurora Proprietary & Confidential Collaborate with Firmware and Electrical engineers to define and clarify eHIL test implementation details Author and document clean, performant Python code Validate performance and robustness of eHIL test suites Required Qualifications: B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field 5+ years experience in Python 5+ years experience in hardware and/or firmware related testing Desirable Qualifications: Experience in electrical hardware V&V, including manufacturing test, electrical validation, and reliability testing Experience in firmware V&V, including Hardware in the Loop testing Experience with cloud based CI (e.g. Buildkite) integration Experience with hardware test asset management systems: automated bench reservations, deployments, health checks, etc. Seniority level: Mid-Senior level Employment type: Contract Inferred from the description for this job
