Job Description

Analyze job failures on DataStage application and Unix server.

Perform code migrations.

Create users and assign roles.

Work with IBM Support for tool‑related issues.

Unlock jobs and sessions.

Maintain a good understanding of Shell scripts and Python code.

ControlM

Take action for failures as needed (kill, force‑complete, hold, etc.).

Configure SAP and Unix jobs.

Update calendars, create workload policies, install and upgrade Control‑M agents.

Configure PagerDuty alerts.

Gentran

Understand Maps, mailboxes, and FTP scripts.

Analyze custom Java programs.

Configure and debug stored procedures on MS SQL.

Must Have Skills

8+ years experience with IBM DataStage.

Strong grasp of Unix servers, shell scripts, Cron jobs, and relational databases.

Hands‑on experience with Python programming.

Ability to create and debug shell scripts.

Knowledge of Snowflake platform.
