Senior Software Engineer – JPS Tech Solutions
Hybrid, Blue Bell, PA. Compensation depends on experience.
Job Description Play a key role in developing and maintaining applications for external and internal customers using Java, Angular, PL/SQL, and related technologies. Contribute healthcare domain expertise to core applications, work with product owners using Scrum, participate in peer reviews, and support delivery of high quality code while meeting challenging deadlines.
Responsibilities
Develop applications using Java, Angular, and PL/SQL.
Contribute domain knowledge to solve complex problems in healthcare context.
Work with product owners and team members in Scrum methodology.
Participate in peer code reviews.
Build and support delivery of code following internal processes and ensuring code quality.
Improve code quality and maintainability of existing code.
Handle multiple tasks, prioritize and meet deadlines.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or equivalent experience.
+8 years of Java experience (Java 8 or higher).
+5 years Spring experience (Spring Boot, etc.).
+5 years Angular experience (Angular 9 or higher).
Experience building and supporting critical enterprise applications.
Strong proficiency in data structures, algorithms and design patterns.
Experience with Oracle or other relational databases.
Experience with Maven, Git, Jenkins.
Experience with Scrum / Agile or Scaled Agile Framework, Jira experience desired.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Strong problem solving, prioritization, and deadline management.
