Sr CX&A Perf Analytics Consultant Southwest Airline Career Page – Senior Performance Analytics Consultant on the Business Performance Team.

The role focuses on owning system‑wide insights that guide strategy, drive revenue, and support Southwest Airlines’ commitment to delivering a reliable, customer‑focused, and financially strong airline.

Location: Dallas, TX – must work from the Dallas headquarters during business hours.

U.S. citizenship or current authorization to work in the U.S. required.

Responsibilities

Analyze business trends using advanced analytical and statistical techniques; translate insights into opportunities for enhancement.

Conduct complex data analysis across diverse sources to provide a holistic picture of the business and identify drivers of performance.

Diagnose and address complex demand and revenue problems, communicating insights and recommending high‑impact, data‑driven strategies.

Propose and build innovative tools, dashboards, and reports to proactively monitor marketing opportunities.

Draft, compile, and present a compelling “story” to Senior Leaders, facilitating informed decision making.

Deliver multiple, hypothesis‑driven projects efficiently, defining scope, timelines, and deliverables aligned with senior leadership needs.

Build and maintain cross‑functional relationships across the Commercial organization, becoming a trusted thought partner.

Develop tools for efficient data gathering from relational databases and web analytics platforms.

Partner with data engineering and product teams to improve data quality and accessibility.

Train and mentor junior analysts.

Perform other job duties as directed by leadership.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Expert knowledge of data visualization, relational database management, and web analytics tools.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, V/H Lookups, charts) and PowerPoint for building, formatting, and presenting.

Experience creating automated processes and reports with enterprise‑level tools.

Independently apply data mining, cleansing, and analysis methods to uncover insights.

Strong storytelling skills that convey actionable, data‑driven recommendations to senior leadership.

Logical reasoning to evaluate alternative solutions and identify strengths and weaknesses.

Ability to use large, complex enterprise data sets to influence strategy.

Excellent communication and presentation skills for concise, structured delivery.

Education

Required: High School Diploma or GED.

Experience

Expert level experience in data retrieval, analysis, visualization, and storytelling.

Experience presenting and communicating analysis to senior executives.

Problem‑solving through a systems‑thinking approach, providing actionable insights for marketing and revenue optimization.

Licensing/Certification

None required.

Physical Abilities

Perform work duties from a limited‑space workstation for extended periods.

Communicate effectively in English.

Use a computer with sufficient speed and accuracy.

Other Qualifications

Maintain a well‑groomed appearance per company standards.

U.S. citizenship or authorized to work in the U.S.

At least 18 years of age.

Comply with company attendance standards.

Pay & Benefits Competitive salary: $125,900 – $139,900 (dependent on qualifications).

Bonus opportunities available at the discretion of the company.
