Job Summary
The Manager of Enrichment is a fully onsite, full‑time position at KIPP DC Headquarters (HDQ), with an anticipated start date of February 2026. The role is integral to the academic team, ensuring joyful, productive learning and enrichment for students during out of school time. The starting salary range is $78,436–$85,256.

About the Role The Manager of Enrichment creates and cultivates partnerships to build, improve and sustain program offerings for KIPP DC students and their families year‑round. This highly collaborative role works across teams, schools and external partnership streams to design, implement and evaluate programs and services that generate the highest‑quality learning experiences.
Location and Type of Work This exempt position reports to the Managing Director of Extended Learning & Enrichment. The role is fully on‑site; staff remain in headquarters or in schools during regular work hours.
Responsibilities
Maintain strategic partnerships to ensure schools have diverse programs and services that meet the needs of KIPP DC students and families.
Manage the implementation of out‑of‑school‑time enrichment programs for all 22 schools.
Implement, evaluate and monitor each program throughout the year.
Ensure strong communication with stakeholders.
Manage partnerships to guarantee successful relationship and service or program delivery.
Share program highlights to promote engagement and success of enrichment programs.
Collaborate with the Director of Out‑of‑School Enrichment to plan on‑campus and off‑campus options for before‑care and after‑care.
Support leaders of after‑care and before‑care programs to implement best practices in service delivery.
Engage external partners to identify and provide complementary off‑campus summer opportunities for families.
Manage enrichment components of the summer camps’ operation.
Support recruitment for summer programming and create equitable student selection and enrollment processes.
Maintain multiple camp programs, day‑to‑day operations, policies and procedures to support and monitor existing summer camp partnerships and ensure high‑quality safe environments.
Develop and supervise external summer camp leads and internal coordinators to oversee day‑to‑day activities of on‑site camp programs.
Share program highlights to promote engagement in enrichment programs with partners, families and school community members.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree.
At least 5 years of relevant experience, such as program management, enrichment program planning, non‑profit program coordination, etc.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong communication skills and the ability to cultivate relationships with a diverse set of stakeholders.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, an initiative mindset, and a creativity orientation.
Strong time‑management skills and a detail‑ and results‑oriented team mindset dedicated to getting the job done.
A successful track record of collaborating with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
Physical Requirements
Ability to travel to and between campuses and headquarters, and to partner locations in the District, Maryland and Virginia region.

The anticipated starting salary range is $78,436–$85,256.
