We help sponsors accelerate deal flow, strengthen diligence, and drive value creation by connecting them with a curated ecosystem of industry experts, operating partners, functional specialists, advisors, and other partners who can materially impact transaction success.

Position Overview The Director - Business Development & Channel Partners is a strategic, high‑impact role responsible for building, optimizing, and leading CapHub’s Intellectual Capital ecosystem of operating executives, domain experts, advisors, functional practitioners, and additional specialty services who support Independent Sponsors across sourcing, diligence, and portfolio operations.

This role combines elements of partner development, channel management, sales qualification, ecosystem enablement, and relationship management. The ideal candidate is relationship‑driven, entrepreneurial, and highly organized, with strong commercial instincts and the ability to build a world‑class partner network.

Key Responsibilities Partner Recruitment & Development

Identify, recruit, and onboard high‑impact Intellectual Capital partners across industries and functional specializations.

Qualify expertise, relevance, track records, and engagement preferences.

Build and maintain a continually refreshed pipeline of Intellectual Capital talent.

Establish a clear value proposition and expectations for Intellectual Capital partners.

Sponsor Engagement & Opportunity Qualification

Conduct deep discovery with Independent Sponsors to understand deal type, industry, diligence requirements, and timing.

Qualify each opportunity and determine the appropriate Intellectual Capital fit.

Direct opportunities to the right Intellectual Capital partner or shortlist.

Facilitate introductory calls and set expectations for outcomes.

Program Enablement & Operations

Develop training, onboarding, and communication materials for Intellectual Capital partners.

Maintain accurate partner profiles and tracking.

Build and refine tools, processes, templates, and reporting structures.

Ensure partners understand CapHub workflows and standards.

Performance Management & Relationship Stewardship

Manage day‑to‑day communications with Intellectual Capital partners.

Monitor performance and sponsor satisfaction.

Track opportunity stages and revenue impact.

Track revenue owed to CapHub and drive collection.

Conduct periodic business reviews with key partners.

Provide key voice in how technology could be infused in CapHub’s processes and interaction models with Intellectual Capital partners and Independent Sponsors.

Work closely with Product Management to develop business requirements.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

Work closely with the President on Intellectual Capital strategy.

Partner with Marketing on assets and activations.

Collaborate with Operations on tools and reporting.

Collaborate with the Transactions team on interaction with and driving value for Independent Sponsors.

Collaborate with Product Management on technology development.

Qualifications – Required

5–10+ years in partner management, channel management, business development, consulting, PE/VC ops, or similar.

Strong ability to assess executive talent and functional expertise.

Experience building or managing a partner or expert network.

Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.

Strong operational discipline in fast‑paced environments.

Qualifications – Preferred

Experience with Independent Sponsors, PE, or expert networks.

Understanding of diligence processes and value creation.

Familiarity with operating partners and deal team workflows.

Travel Requirements This role is remote with periodic travel for sponsor meetings, Intellectual Capital recruiting, industry events, and team onsites. Estimated travel: 10–15% annually.
