Job Description About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Merchandising Operations Specialist to support store mapping, assortment planning, and enhancement execution across our U.S. retail fleet. This role is instrumental in bringing merchant strategies to life in stores, ensuring each location reflects current brand priorities, assortment updates, and ongoing retrofit initiatives. You will partner closely with field leaders and cross-functional teams to drive accuracy, consistency, and operational excellence in all store planning activities.

Key Responsibilities
Gather and implement merchant strategies and field requests into store maps, supporting biannual store rebrands that drive newness and sales.
Create new assortments and maintain start/stop inventory dates for existing assortments impacted by retrofits and enhancement projects.
Maintain master databases of branded and animated space by store and fixture for an assigned portion of the U.S. fleet.
Support the planning and execution of multiple store enhancement projects with varied timelines and scope.
Execute the master process timeline and ensure all team deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule.
Partner with Regional Directors and District Managers to align on final store maps and manage field requests when feasible.
Build strong regional knowledge of assigned stores to inform planning and ensure accuracy.
Partner with Property Development, Purchasing & Procurement, Retail Operations, Visual Marketing, and Inventory teams to ensure seamless retrofit and enhancement execution.
Analyze brand productivity and door-level performance to influence merchandising strategy and branding decisions.
Apply working knowledge of capital expenditure budgets to identify sales-driving opportunities and cost-saving efficiencies.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience in retail, ideally within Merchandising, Store Operations, Planning, or a related function within beauty, fashion or retail.
Highly process-oriented with exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong sense of urgency and effective time management; able to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and competing priorities.
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills required (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, data management).
Comfortable navigating ambiguity and making sound decisions without complete information.
Analytical problem-solver who can think creatively and propose innovative solutions.
Strong communication skills with ability to partner across merchant teams, cross-functional groups, and field leadership.
Positive, proactive, collaborative team player.
