Warehouse Area Manager
OnTrac is hiring a
Warehouse Area Manager . In this role you will report directly to the Operations Manager of the facility and be responsible for managing all sorting activities and volume within an assigned area. You will also identify opportunities for improvement and implement change to enhance business outcomes in the operation.

Pay Salary:
$56,000 - $97,000 annually, depending on experience
Work Hours Shift:
Sunday – Thursday, 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM. Hours may change based on business needs.

Required Qualifications
GED/Diploma required; college degree in a related discipline preferred
Minimum 2 years of industry experience (e.g., logistics, shipping, 3PL) with at least 1 year of demonstrated leadership experience
Ability to evaluate and summarize data and present answers to questions
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office and mathematical skills
Effective communication skills, including giving honest, constructive feedback
Experience with hiring, training, motivating, disciplining, and conducting performance evaluations for employees
Responsibilities
Manage, staff, and schedule a team of Package Handlers and Lead Package Handlers in an assigned area to ensure quality standards while maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
Monitor employee progress, provide ongoing feedback, identify areas for improvement, and address performance/attendance.
Conduct pre-sort meetings, keeping employees informed of daily goals, upcoming events, and safety priorities. Maintain an open line of communication to engage employees.
Record and manage the departures/arrivals and the flow of volume from designated Linehauls.
Execute various administrative duties, including safety training, operational audits, and end-of-shift reporting.
