Job Title:
Enterprise Network Architect
Location:
Lockwood Blvd, VA/Hybrid
Responsibilities
Document comprehensive network designs that integrate multiple network technologies, such as LANs, WANs, wireless networks, and VPNs, to support the organization’s business operations and communication needs.
Cloud centric network design, including multi-tenant, multi-region (intra US) deployments and multi-vendor technologies across IaaS, PaaS and SaaS tiers
Data centric network design for efficient data transfers within the agency and across agencies and with other business partners and public or otherwise external data sources
Incorporate network solutioning with our emerging Cloud FinOps practice to support cost analysis and cost modeling for networking related cost
Design and document the entire network implementation process
Monitoring network performance and taking follow-up steps to resolve latency issues and security concerns
Creating documentation throughout the design and deployment process for future reference
Develop patterns and standards for all network designs
The ability to analyze data traffic and system performance to determine future upgrades.
Work with our IT staff and third‑party equipment and software vendors to ensure the network needs are met.
Research new technologies and solutions, and assess new technologies for adoption
Define multisite network operations and software applications.
Train, mentor, and transfer skills to the extended team.
Works on highly complex projects that require in-depth knowledge across multiple specialized architecture domains and networking layers.
Aligns architecture strategy with business goals.
Required Qualifications
Hands‑on experience administering Juvare WebEOC V10.
Experience participating in or supporting migration efforts toward Juvare WebEOC NexUs.
Strong understanding of user provisioning, incident configuration, roles, and positions.
Experience with GIS integrations and the ArcGIS API.
Familiarity with plug‑ins, system notifications, mapping tools, and communication integrations such as Microsoft Teams.
Ability to work with vendors and technical service providers to implement business requirements.
Experience with both cloud and on‑premises WebEOC environments.
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer support abilities.
