Qualifications
Approximately 4 years of experience working on large construction projects.
Approximately 4 years of experience working as an Office Engineer on large construction projects.
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
Valid California Class C driver's license.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
Duties
Coordinate the approval process for documents and contract changes. Manage and maintain the Document Control/Change Control process for all project documents. Maintain controlled distribution lists.
Provide technical support to the Construction Manager.
Receive, record, and compile review comments; or use similar software.
Assist in coordinating services with outside agencies.
Assist in preparing project closeout documentation.
Support Metro's Third-Party Coordinator in administering utility rearrangement and restoration work with project teams and City, County, State, and Utility Agencies. Review and analyze quality trend reports. Assist in the negotiation and preparation of agreements with outside agencies and public/private utilities for all services necessary to support Metro's construction and operation activities.
