This Information Security Project Manager role is on site 5 days a week supporting a large banking client. This contract is budgeted for a full year with potential to extend up to 18 or 24 months. Converting full time with the client is also a possibility upon the end of the contract. Candidates must pass a lifetime background check and be willing to work on site 5 days a week in one of the office locations listed below. This will be a W2 contract with TEKsystems with core working hours of 8-5, Monday through Friday, 40‑hour work weeks.

Previous IT Security PM experience in an enterprise banking environment (candidates need to be comfortable in highly regulated environments and capable of handling an enterprise equivalent in banking)

Infrastructure (Hardware) background – open to candidates from a variety of infra experiences, but candidates need to clearly articulate exactly what their infrastructure background is

Data Protection – looking for people with hardware experience related to this; need to know what solutions they have been putting in place to help secure an environment

Endpoint Security experience – CrowdStrike is the preferred tool of experience but open to other similar products such as SentinelOne or other competitors in the endpoint security space

Description This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering defined deliverables which usually require engagement from multiple teams. Key responsibilities include communicating the work objectives, coordinating delivery, managing risks, ensuring compliance to standards, and providing end‑to‑end visibility into the health of the deliverables. The role ensures execution and delivery meets the client’s expectations in terms of functionality, quality, timeline and cost. It facilitates sync points across multiple organizations to enable delivery.

Primary Level of Engagement: Works at program level under the supervision from a more senior domain expert or manager.

Primary Interactions: Scrum Master, Product Owner, Product Manager, Release Train Engineer, Technology Manager, and Delivery Lead II.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and facilitate routines to support delivery (e.g., kick‑offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, tollgates, and so on)

Plan and coordinate delivery and dependencies across multiple teams

Facilitate dependency management/risk management/impediment removal for the defined deliverables

Promote and facilitate communication and collaboration across organizations to support deliverable completion and timeline

Gather and facilitate status updates for the deliverables to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to delivery, risks/issues, and schedule

Ensure that execution is aligned with deliverable requirements by working with the sponsor/stakeholders

Ensure deliverables comply with Enterprise – Change Management standards

Support resource planning for delivery/execution

Required Skills

Agile Scrum Experience

MS Project

Technical Change Management (software/hardware deployments)

Advanced understanding of the security business practices, and familiarity with the project management processes and controls

Strong knowledge of financial services, cybersecurity products, services and technologies at a functional and data level

Cyber security policy, standards and project management process controls

Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $65.15 – $65.15/hr.
