The Global Sr. Product Manager, scM is responsible for leading the development and execution of product management and marketing deliverables to support the platform’s business goals. This role requires a solid understanding of target research audiences and regulatory environments, along with the ability to translate complex technical concepts and insights into clear and effective product requirements and positioning that resonate with target audiences and drive commercial success.

Success in this role requires strong molecular, cell biology, and software analysis expertise, relevant upstream and downstream marketing experience, and exceptional problem‑solving skills, plus motivation to enable customer success with new technologies.

Job Responsibilities

Provide world‑class solutions for customers by driving analysis of highly complex biology samples and empower researchers with BD’s innovative single‑cell multiomics products.

Develop a deep understanding of the market landscape, competitive offerings, and opportunities for growth in adjacent and white spaces.

Lead development of target product profiles, value propositions, prioritize initiatives, and advance projects through the pipeline, in collaboration with key stakeholders in R&D and other cross‑functional teams.

Contribute to the long‑term strategic planning of the product portfolio by finding opportunities, enhancements, or expansions based on market insights and technological advancements.

Define market segments, develop positioning, and create compelling messaging to establish a foundation for effective communication plans.

Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of marketing strategies and make data‑driven recommendations for improvement.

Partner with collaborators across the organization to successfully lead launch excellence for new products to ensure adoption and achievement of business targets.

Develop global pricing guidelines, evidence generation plans, and collateral for the core product launch kit to ensure successful product introduction and market penetration.

Facilitate communication between teams to ensure a cohesive approach to platform marketing.

Establish strong relationships with key customers, healthcare professionals, and industry collaborators to gain insights and feedback on product performance and market needs. Organize and participate in select conferences and customer events.

Be the champion for customers and lead feedback to other internal teams, including product development core teams.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum of a MS Degree in molecular biology, biochemistry, cell biology, bioinformatics, or equivalent. MBA preferred.

A minimum of 5+ years of progressive business experience in roles that demonstrate increasing responsibility and expertise in relevant areas, such as marketing, product management, and strategy.

Prior experience in product development in relevant field highly preferred.

Prior experience with single cell multiomics, genomics, sequencing, informatics and related technologies highly preferred.

Demonstrated success in new product development, as well as in upstream and downstream marketing.

Proven experience in launch excellence marketing, including planning, execution, and driving successful product launches is highly preferable.

A proven ability to define market landscapes, product solutions, and target users and translate customer needs and feedback into actionable insights for collaborators, including engineering and marketing teams.

Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and synthesize insights into actionable strategies.

Proven ability to develop, lead, and nurture strong customer relationships, ensuring alignment with business goals and fostering long‑term partnerships.

Critical thinking and problem‑solving expertise with a demonstrated ability to achieve business results by influencing cross‑functional teams and collaborators without direct authority.

A high degree of intellectual curiosity and learning agility, enabling swift adaptation to evolving business landscapes and new challenges.

Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, with a track record of communicating ideas clearly, persuasively, and effectively to diverse audiences.

Capacity to work in a fast‑paced environment, quick learner with ability to adapt to change.

Salary Range Information $99,700.00 - $164,300.00 USD Annual
