EA's Production Infrastructure & Engineering (PI&E) organization
provides essential platforms and hosting solutions that power EA's games and live services. Our mission is to make EA's games and services available to players anytime, anywhere, while focusing on high availability of infrastructure, live services and studio services. As a Senior Director of Product Management for Infrastructure Business Optimization, you will set the vision and strategy for managing cost, capacity and vendor relationships and partner with engineering, finance and business leaders to create scalable, cost‑effective solutions that maximize the value of our infrastructure.
This is a people‑leadership role. You will grow a team of product managers, guiding their career development and ensuring success across our portfolio while maturing our product management practices, building a consistent operating framework and fostering a culture of learning through experimentation.
You Will
Define and evolve product strategy for cost management, capacity forecasting, cost optimization, and vendor lifecycle management.
Develop multi‑year product roadmaps and align priorities across engineering, finance, and business partners.
Partner with game studios, live service teams, and finance to shape and deliver high‑impact product capabilities.
Lead a team of product managers; set clear goals and build a high‑performing team.
Establish product operations standards for intake, roadmapping, prioritization, and metrics.
Champion a data‑informed, customer‑focused culture that balances value, cost efficiency and technical feasibility.
Stay current with FinOps, cloud optimization and infrastructure best practices to bring fresh ideas into our strategy.
You Bring
10+ years of product management experience, including expertise in hybrid and multi‑cloud infrastructure cost optimization.
Proven success defining and delivering multi‑year product strategies at enterprise scale.
Experience leading and developing product management teams.
Strong knowledge of FinOps practices, cloud ecosystems (AWS, GCP, Azure) and infrastructure fundamentals (VMs, containers, networking, storage).
Ability to engage on financial topics such as budgeting, forecasting and ROI.
Strong communication skills and influence with senior stakeholders across technical and business domains.
Compensation & Benefits The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors.
British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria)
$201,000 - $281,900 CAD
In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top‑up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan for regular full‑time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
