About the Job We need a natural boss that can manage daily responsibilities and handle duties across the store. The position calls for strong judgement, math and multitasking skills. It is a fun, flexible role that provides valuable work experience and the opportunity to help Domino’s become the best in pizza delivery.
Job Responsibilities
Manage everything that happens during your shift, including cost controls, inventory control, cash control and customer relations.
Set an example for all crew and ensure 100% compliance with company policies and procedures.
Oversee staffing, paperwork, cost controls, cash control, food management, schedule adherence, image and standards, customer service, attendance & punctuality, store cleanliness and marketing.
Maintain profitability through inventory and cost management.
Coordinate transportation to/from work for yourself and ensure access to a reliable, insured vehicle for deliveries.
Deliver product by car, hand out flyers, and manage deliveries to customers.
Qualifications
Minimum age 18 years or older.
Valid driver’s licence with a safe driving record and access to an insured vehicle for delivery.
Strong communication skills – verbal, written, and telephone.
Ability to perform basic math operations accurately and quickly.
Motor coordination for rapid and accurate movements; ability to operate different equipment.
Ability to navigate in adverse terrain, multi‑story buildings and private homes during deliveries.
Good vision (near and far), hearing and depth perception.
Work Conditions Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing outside tasks. In‑store temperatures range from 36°F in the cooler to 90°F+ in some work areas. Sudden temperature changes, food odors, cornmeal dust, hot surfaces up to 500°F or higher, sharp edges and mechanical parts are present.
Physical Demands
Standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, pushing, climbing, stooping/bending, crouching/squatting, reaching.
Hand/eye tasks, tools, equipment and work aids.
Delivery duties: carrying pizzas and beverages while walking and climbing stairs.
Driving within a designated delivery area; may deliver several pizzas per shift.
