Data Engineer III

Position: Data Engineer III Location: Seattle, WA 98121 Duration: 17 Months Job Type: Contract Work Type: Onsite Job Description: The Infrastructure Automation team is responsible for delivering the software that powers our infrastructure. Responsibilities: As a Data Engineer, you will work in one of the world's largest and most complex data warehouse environments. You will develop and support analytic technologies that provide our customers with timely, flexible, and structured access to their data. Design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable, and reusable data pipelines and infrastructure supporting analytics, reporting, and strategic decision-making. You will design and implement platforms using third-party and in-house reporting tools, model metadata, and build reports and dashboards. You will collaborate with business customers to understand requirements and implement solutions for analytical and reporting needs. Explore source systems, data flows, and business processes to identify opportunities, ensure data accuracy and completeness, and improve data quality and usability. Required Skills & Experience: 7+ years of related experience. Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and ETL pipelines. Strong SQL skills. Experience with at least one modern scripting or programming language, such as Python or Java. Strong analytical skills to translate business requirements into technical data solutions. Excellent communication skills for collaboration across technical and business teams. Ability to partner directly with business owners to understand requirements and provide data insights to observe patterns and identify anomalies. Preferred: Experience with AWS technologies like Redshift, S3, Glue, EMR, Kinesis, FireHose, Lambda, and IAM roles. Experience with non-relational databases or data stores (object storage, document, key-value, graph, or column-family databases). At least 3 years of experience preparing data for visualization tools like Tableau. KPI:
